24 hours and 20 babies?

Talked to my daughter.... when she got to the barn last night, her 4-H leader was just arriving... Mama dog had given birth to 6 puppies so far at her house... she gave birth to 2 more later while the lady was at the barn.

Meanwhile, at the barn, my daughter got to give MAMA pig a shot to make her labor hurry up. The water broke and the runt fell out... My daughter had to monitor contractions... 2-3 minutes apart. A total of 12 piglets were born.

My daughter got to cut 7 umbilical cords and do iodine. She said the placenta will take up to a day to fully come out...

I GOT TO BE A VET FOR A DAY!!!

did I mention she has wanted to be a vet for the past 10 years?

Tomorrow morning she has to go to the barn to dock tails and clip teeth.
